Measuring the size and cost of government
- A 2019 study done for the Greater Cleveland Partnership found that Cuyahoga County residents and businesses paid $632 more a year per capita in state and local taxes than those in a group of large urban counties. The other cities were Buffalo, Cincinnati, Columbus, Detroit, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Nashville, Pittsburgh and St. Louis.
