Introducing 1NEO
The world and its economy are changing rapidly. If Northeast Ohio wants to compete for talent, investment and resources, its patchwork of communities must at long last start thinking and acting like a region.
Meet 1NEO, a group of volunteers working to foster comprehensive collaboration throughout Northeast Ohio. Solutions vary; our goal is simply to spark serious, productive conversations about what is possible and finally get transformative action from our elected leaders.
Our region offers an abundance of world-class assets and should be a thriving destination to visit or live and work. But our population has been stagnant for years; economic growth lags. The duplication of public services is inefficient, costly and unsustainable. We can do much better.
Want to join us and explore what’s possible? Click on “Join 1NEO” to receive further information and invitations to help turn up the volume on this critical issue. The prosperity of the region we will be handing off to future generations depends on it.
“Cities cannot compete in today’s economic arena. Only regions can.”
— William Currin, former mayor of Hudson
